According to reputable sources, there are about 80,000 companies certified according to ISO 9001 in Spain. Not to mention the many of them who have it implanted without having obtained certification, makes us see the interest that among entrepreneurs benefit from such standard. Almost all employers are aware that in a competitive market and now also in crisis, differentiation is an important point when it comes to doing business and obtain a positive year-end. A way of differentiating itself from the rest is to add value to our product or service through the implementation of voluntary system of certifiable quality that demonstrates to our customers and suppliers that our company applies methods of control and continuous improvement to its products and/or services. We must add to that aspect by applying the guidelines of the ISO 9001 noema, also we will obtain a substantial improvement in our working methods obtaining a reduction in our cost of production or provision of services in the majority of cases.
